What your browser reveals
Every website you visit automatically receives this information. None of it identifies you by name — but combined, it forms a "fingerprint" that can make your browser fairly unique.
Why this matters
Your browser sends a user agent string with every request so servers can adapt content to your device. Scripts on a page can additionally read your screen size, installed languages, timezone and hardware details. Individually these values are harmless; together they can form a fingerprint that tracks you across sites even without cookies.
If that bothers you, use a browser with fingerprinting protection (Firefox, Brave, or Safari's tracking prevention), keep it updated, and consider a VPN to hide your IP address as well.
