WhatsMyIP.no started with a simple frustration: checking your IP address should not require wading through ads, popups and upsells. So we built the tool we wanted to use — instant, honest and free.

Today the site offers a small toolbox for everyday network questions: your public IP and what it reveals, DNS lookups, port checks, subnet math and a free API for developers. Everything runs on infrastructure in Europe.

Our principles

• Free means free. No accounts, no paywalls, no artificial limits for normal use.
• Privacy-friendly. We do not sell data. Analytics only runs if you consent, and lookups you type into tools are not stored.
• Honest information. Our guides tell you what an IP address actually reveals — not scare stories designed to sell you something.
